There were some good fakes out in Turkey, but I also looked as I have a fab pair of Raybans but couldnt really find "orignals", so I bought mine in the UK, I paid about £180 for my first pair, but when I wanted a different one I went into the shop to find the ones I liked and to try on and then purchased them from Ebay, definite good way of saving money!

I have 3 pair all different styles.

One from Rhodes was £85, one from Las Vegas was £85 and one from Turkey was £70

They are definitely cheaper in Turkey than here. I saved £80 on rrp pf a [pair of silhouette I bought. Just make sure you go into a proper shop and you'll be ok. Only thing might be if you can't get the exact model you want....

Have you had a look at the best prices you can get them from america on the net.
Even with the shipping cost's added i have bought loads of things from the states cheaper than i can get them over hear.
One thing though if you get them from the states ask whoever is posting them to you to mark the parcel as agift and value the item on the box ticket less than $25 and there are no custom charges to pay :tup

I had the same thought and had thought about asking some friends to send them back for us but didn't really want them to have the hassle of shopping for them and then posting them. Especially as they have a new baby.

The ones I found on the internet were on ebay. I think the cheapest I found in the US was about £70 plus shipping.

There's a really good and reputable shop in the Gima Centre in Marmaris. Not sure if they have Rayban though. I know they do loads of the top names in sunglasses so they probably do.

Imported goods in Turkey are extortionately expensive; so I would have thought Rayban sunglasses would actually cost more there than in the UK.

Of course, there's thousands of fake ones out there, but I wouldn't risk buying a pair, simply for safety reasons. They have NO UVB protection at all.

No chance of me buying fakes it has to be the real deal. I would just like to get a bargain. I think I will probably get them from the internet.
