Where to go? - advice needed

Hello.

My boyfriend and I would like to spend a week in Greece next summer but we're not sure where as there are so many islands and resorts to choose from.

We're in our mid-20s, are looking for a place which is quiet during the day, close to the beach but with a fairly entertaining nightlife. We're not bothered about clubbing much, but enjoy eating out and going to nice lively bars.

We'd like somewhere with a nice scenery and traditional restaurants etc...

Also, anywhere fairly close to a waterpark would be a bonus

Any idea that would fit this description?

We've been looking around and Kefalonia, and especially Lassi, has been coming to our attention.

Do you think this will be a good choice?

Any recommendations regarding hotels/appartments, and restaurants/bars/tavernas?

I think that Parga might fit. Certainly has the scenery and the restaurants.
Skopelos has both these and the odd club if you want one.
Skiathos has the decided advantage of an airport 10 minutes from the town.
Rhodes has everything, as does Crete, of course.
So I would probably plump for Thasos, mainly for the food, archaeology and scenery. 6 mile ferry from Kavala or Keramoti.
I'm afraid I don't know about water parks. Someone will find you one as they are often mentioned on these pages. (Paxos has a diving centre).
