I know you can get nictotine gun from the chemists in Marmaris, so I would think you could get the patches too. The gum was cheaper than back home.
Get yourself to the doc ask for some Zyban and get yourself off the cigs for good.
I did it five weeks ago and have been off the cigs for almost four weeks. Amazing stuff and considering I've been smoking for 20 years I have had almost zero cravings!!

ive tried them all as well,with the zyban i managed to quit then had a reaction to them,i looked and felt like i had been rolled through a stinging nettle patch,im now on the champix,my stop day is this wednesday,fingers crossed,

Now that you mention the nettle rash, I had it all over my hands this morning, but my wee boy has slapped cheek virus and we assumed that I had a very mild version of that. But omg, it was probably hives wasn't it! I'll keep an eye and if comes back out tommorow again will phone the doc. I forgot that was a side effect of Zyban!
Wonder why its only coming out now though and I've been on it over a month! I did a fair few shandies over the weekend though, so good chance its a reaction

My sister is trying to quit at the moment and is taking Champix and hasn't smoked or had a craving for two weeks.
Regarding presciption prices in this country we definately get off lightly. Most countries charge for each individual medicine and as a widely prescibed medication such as Lansoprazole (used to treat peptic and acid indegestion) is over £50 to buy for a months course in this country we don't do badly.

day two for me on the champix,not had a fag but had a couple of cravings,good luck to all thats trying to get off the weed, 
The Patches that Bryn mentions are indeed 17YTL but only 7 . They are German and are called Nıcotinell and last for 24 hours each patch.So one month will cost you around70 YTL. No free breakfasts in Turkey apart from the Fags of course.

Ian, Nicotinell is a very common and popular brand patch here in the UK - and it costs anything from about £12 upwards for a pack of 7. So it is indeed a lot cheaper in Turkey, if its 17ytl for a pack.

Elaine just to confirm the pack my missus bought was Nicontinell 2 pack of 7 so dont let em charge any more.
