Cant tell you much...stayed overnight there couple of years ago.

Canal runs through the town and there is a Canal side type village tourist attraction.....further up the canal also a really big lift lock which lifts whole boats from one level to another..worth seeing if your passing and if you like engineering..

Other than that just typical mid size canadian town. I couldnt recommend a special detour or trip

I was only thee because I arrived late flight to Toronto and was heading to Montreal so it was enough out of Toronto to give me a good start next day.
