excursions in malta

just back from malta and have to say one of the must do's is the captain morgan cruise of the islands it was brilliant, its a full day but well worth it, leaving from sliema at 9.30am and returning at 5.30ish. on board was all amenities required; bar, toilets use of snorkeling masks for a small deposit. cruise around malta, stop at the blue lagoon, lunch served on the boat (delicious salad plus juice or wine) time to spend at the blue lagoon, scenery breathtaking. Back on the boat at 3pm and cruise around gozo and back round to sleima. this tour does the transfers to and from your hotel. If you go to malta you have got to do this one
Have to say this is the only trip I have not done (all around the Island). did'nt realise there was a snorkelling stop either. Going all inc usually, all day trips are less attractive, but had good trips with Captian Morgans before and had the best snorkelling over near the blue Grotto so might go for it ...maybe on my own though 
Have to say we booked this ourselves and not through the rep, think it was through sunscope but you can book at sliema where the boats pick up. i think it cost 20ml each but i reckon it was well worth it. we didn't do the snorkeling this time as i got stung by a jellyfish last time we went to the blue lagoon. Give it a go next time you are in malta i am sure you will like it.

Did the round the Island trip a few years ago as part of the AI package that was offered by the Fortina where we were staying at the time. I agree it's a great trip but beware if you suffer with sea sickness since quite a few folks especially children were really sick. 
Suggest you take some travel sickness pills.
I was okay because as part of the AI package this included free drinks on this trip and I was well tanked up in fact if I'd been sick I'd have thought it was the booze!!
