I am really starting to panick we are going to this hotel on the 4th Of Oct and i'm really really worried having read soem reviews.
Is It really that awful a hotel? Has anyone been there since Aug and should I be worried.
I have read a few reviews dotted around the internet about people having their safes broken into.
Please can you advise if you know anything..

Yes the Golden Port Salou does indeed have security boxes.
We found the hotel to be top notch in all areas, even to internet facilities

WHAT ON EARTH WAS I WORRYING ABOUT!!
The hotel was fab food was fab, the staff were fab the only critisism was it could do with a bit of maintenance eg my tiolet was not attached to the floor or wall but my mums was! so its not all the tiolets...

Just wondering if anyone will be around in salou at this time too .. this will be first time ive been since being 11 yrs old and that was like an age ago .. so it will have changed alot .. looking forward too it as its our honeymoon too! 
Staying in the Golden Port Salou Park .. if anyone else is about .. we could chat and maybe meet for drinks or something! just a thought.

Does anyone know how long it take to walk from the Hotel Golden Port Salou to Portaventura.
I have booked to go there at the end of Aug, I was thinking of getting a 7 day pass to Portaventura but not sure how far away it is.
If its not walking distance, anyone know how far in a taxi?

I walked there last year and it took about 20 minutes.
Come out of hotel, turn left. stay on pompeu Fabre road, until after a crossroad, stay straight, turn right and follow road past a few roundabouts until a bridge, then turn under there (stairs).

The Golden Port Salou is the best hotel i've stayed at in Spain.
My family and I are going back for the third time we love it.
My son is now 8yrs old he has something to do all day.
Very good value for money.

If anyone is there before this date can they please let me know who the Golden Entertainment Reps are. Last year was Isbael and Israel. Hoping Israel will be there again this year.

I stayed at this hotel about a year and a half ago, we had a lovely time, the room was nice there was a safe in it, the buffet was lovely with plenty of choice even if they do not do a child menu there is enough choice to please fussy eaters, make the most of happy hour normally two for one on drinks, the pool was lovely, overall we had a great time.

We stayed in the Golden port hotel last October for my dads 60th and we loved it the food was lovely the staff were friendly, people who have children will love the entertainer Israel. Its only a short walk to all the pubs and restaurants and also the beach. We also thought it was very clean.
My dad and his family he has a 9 year old boy are going back this year Augest 14th and we are staying at the hotel calypso as we like to try different places.

PS If you are going to Portaventura get your tickets in England much cheeper i'm 39 and i loved it there as did all my children if you don't like fast rides it has plenty of shows to watch. Visit Barcelona my husband took our son to a match the atmosphere was great
