Please be warned this place is dire and use it only if desperate!! We wanted to stay overnight en route to Heathrow and got a saver room at £49 online.
I don't know what it is like during the daytime but we arrived in the evening and it opens directly onto the services car park. The atmosphere is a little menacing and we didn't feel particularly safe. It seemed easy for people to wander in and out.
Our shabby ground floor room was extremely basic and unwelcoming. One small bar of soap in the bathroom and a few towels. The security retainer on the window was broken ( someone trying to break in??) so we slept with the window closed in a very stuffy, hot room.
The service station next door had very few outlets open and there was very little choice of meals, mainly greasy burgers.
