yes thats right!! we arrrive late afternoon/early evening so have given the day up there for lost so to speak.....

also on the basis that the night in new orleans is better spent doing other things than shopping!!!!!

also we would have done a sea day by the time we get to k/west so be ready for a good walkaround to walk of the luxuries of the ship!!

No big shopping malls in Key West. It really is a tourist area.

Might be worth you doing the green/orange trolly tour around Key West for an hour or so. Rest of the time wandering. Lots of smaller tourist type shops and bars/restaurants.

Sounds very much like the cruise we did on P&O Arcadia in February.

New Orleans was very interesting, but it is amazing how little has benn done to repair the damage caused to the city by Katrina.

Key West is all smallish touristy shops, although they all seemed to have some sort of sale going on. This is the place to buy outlandish Hawaiian shirts for the ship's tropical night - they are the cheapest in the Caribbean. We did the trolley tour to see all the sights. Unfortunately it rained solidly all the time we were there.

There are loads of shops in St Thomas and St Maarten if you are calling in there, best shopping by far of all the islands we visited.

we stop at those places too so will leave it till then for my bargains!
