I've seen (and used) similar elsewhere, even here in the UK, and I've always enjoyed the experience. In some places, like Bulgaria, they operate more as a kind of unofficial public transport
What are your reservations, Wolfie? the locations, or the principle of the thing?

Like I say I'm not sure, perhaps it's just me against change but I can't help feeling that Malta's Identity seems to be eroding away over the last few years and that is now accelerating at pace with Euro funds available. I just don't want it to turn into a costa clone I guess

Hi Wolfie, yep must agree with you on this one, whilst they are just an innocent bit of fun they will not lend to places like Mdina. However St Pauls, Buggiba, and Qawra areas yes, but thank god Sliema or Siggiewi aren't on the list (yet), now if it was the old Malta railway style service that would be fantastic http://maltarailway.com/ it must of been superb going by train from Mdina through Attard and Birkirkara eventually steaming in to the big tunnel at Valletta and disembarking just beneath City Gate then of course back to Mdina, wow that would of been good.
