Weve just got back from hurghada and they did do water skiing from there, there wasnt much coral by our hotel (The Grand resort) and we watched them go a couple of times from the beach, they also do windsurfing, banana boats and paragliding(think thats what its called they were attatched to a parachute being pulled by boat) their was a big watersports area there with lots of different things to try for varying prices plus they do snorkeling and scuba diving, hope this helps

The hotel was amasing, i have posted a report on it in the hotels review thread. but basically its very clean and the staff and food are very good, infact we have already booked to go back next year, its the 1st time we have ever returned to the same hotel so it must of been good.
