I am booked on Saturday Monarch flight, tickets say via Bahrain. Hope they allow smoking in Bahrain airport

Roxey you could smoke in Bahrain airport when we came home in Feb, and when cigs are only £27:50 a 1000 it would be rude not to...Keith
P.S That's why its not worth buying any in Manchester before you leave.

Sorry Debs but like Brenliz we have been 10 times never on a Staurday flight always with Monarch and always we have stopped at Bahrain

We've done both over the last 7 years (10 trips in all) and initially the Thursday flight from Manchester with Monarch did stop at Bahrain, but in 2005 it was direct, it depends which aircraft they use, if it's the airbus it stops, if it's a 757 it's direct. We flew with First Choice this year so it may have reverted back.

I checked my booking details last night. I am flying out on a Thursday from Manchester and it lists the aircraft as an A330, but there is no mention of a stop over in Bahrain.

I hope we do stop....just to stretch the legs a bit!
