8 weeks today, i will be getting a numb bum, enjoying the sumptuous neon jade green seating of first choice airways, about 1.5 hours into my flight to rhodes, which may mean i will also be grappling with an unruly rubber sausage and a solid block of scrambled egg with a plastic fork and my elbows bent inwards-oh the joy of the jet set :wink:

never mind, soon as thats over i've got 14 whole days and nights of souvlaki, saganaki, mozzies and cozzies...and with 8 weeks left, the cozzie is hung up next to the fridge along with a picture of gillian mckeith :oops:

to remind me i'm on the home stretch...good thing really as i am currently having recurrent dreams involving pints of mythos and walls white chocolate magnums...

This time in 2 weeks i will be back in the 60's bar in Lindos quaffing nice cold refreshing Mythos. It can't come quickly enough.

2 weeks and 6 days 'til the best 2 weeks of the year!!! and if i am this exitable now, i think i am going to need darting in the bum like a rhino by the day before to keep me at a normal level of calmness! in proper preparation mode now, cat has clocked his 24 pack of whiskas in the shed and knows that us bulk buying his products equals him having to put up with the neighbour doing feline meals- on -wheels style arrangements for a fortnight, boyfriend is also requiring tranqualiser darts after finding various receipts all over the house for tanning products, sandals, posh sunglasses and other ''essentials'' and i am spending way to much time on holiday truths when i am supposed to be working :wink:

i finish work in 1 week, 3 hours, we fly at 7.10am on weds 5th sept from MAN. i have already switched off work wise, as i type this, i am supposed to be drawing up a new spread sheet :roll:

looks like we are on the same flight as you next wednesday,we are going to pefkos staying at PEFKOS VIEW APARTMENTS. not been able to find out very much about them,no reviews for this season,i know it is on the road out to lindos ,opposite the junction that has the bakery on the hill,but not much else, any body know any info ??? ie how long to the main road,how long to the beach , is accomodation ok ?

finshing work at lunch time, then that's nearly the wait over with, taxi at 3am...never thought it would arrive.
