Hi, we went to Playa Blanca in the last week of November (very strange seeing xmas stuff up when its hot). All the restaurants were open as its a year round resort. The weather was mixed some hot days, one grey and light rain, a couple of cloudy days oh and a hurricane at the end of the week! It was never cold though and managed to come home with a tan. Watch out for the constant breeze as it makes it feel cooler than it is and you can really burn.

Hi Sally - we are off too playa Blanca the last week of November this year (well actually the papagayo arena so just outside PB) i was pleased to read from your post that most places remained open and that you had mostly good weather - fingers crossed for this year - will be strange to see the Xmas stuff though. We've never holidayed that late in the year before, first week of Nov has been the latest so far....
