The plane is a Bristol Beaufighter and was discovered west of Naxos, Cyclades Islands at the depth of 34 meters in very good condition, fortunately the pilots not inside as no bones were discovered and the canopy was open.
The divers have already announced the discovery to Greek Air Forces given them the serial numbers of engines as no other sign or serial number was visible.
I hope GAF will recover the plane from sea and excibit to War Museum as already have done with Dornie and other planes have been discovered and also will announce everything to British authorities
