i dont know about those two but we are on o2 and for every text we sent it uses 4 of my allowance which are part of my package anyway i know i wont run out as i have 500 text messages

when we were recently in bulgaria it cost me a fortune to make a call .
I phoned my daughter for about 4 mins and it cost me £8.90. so the next day she called me and we spoke for about 6 mins and it still cost me £8 i couldnt believe it, so the following week i bought a phone card for about £2 english money and spoke to my grandchildren for a long time .
texts are better but still take your credit even though you have free texts.

we are on the international package with o2 so my text messages come out of my allowance i have loads anyway and i think calls from Bulgaria are about 58p a minute, we travel regularly and this seems to be the best package we have had so far

i just visited the vodafone uk web site & they charge 38ppm for outgiong calls & 19p for incoming calls.
also you can join what they call the "vodafone passport" by dialing 5555 from your voda mobile and from confirmation you pay a 75p connection fee for every outgoing call & every minute is then charged @ your usual uk rate!
