I would say AI because although eating out is quite cheap....it's not really cheap though!
We went AI to the Coral Sea Resort, which is a huge complex hotel so we spent a lot of the time there. We had most of our meals at the hotel but did eat out twice. Both meals out were in Naama Bay and cost around £12-£15 for the two of us including drinks.
Last year I went B&B and spent a fortune on lunches and dinners plus all the drinks.....I found AI much much cheaper overall.

Thankyou spinner. Was the hotel nice and was it in sharm el sheik which seems to be popular. And finally who did you book with? Many thanks. Regards. Stephen
Sharm is the whole area including Naama Bay. We stayed at the Coral Sea Resort in Nabq Bay which is about 30 minutes north of Namma Bay.
Booked with First Choice with no problems at all.

Thanks for replying folks. I got a price for the hilton sharks bay. Has anyone been. Stephen
I wouldnt go A1 either, i like the freedom to venture out and see things, not stuck with repetitive food that repeats itself on week two, thats of course if you like the food, If you choose a hotel outside of sharm, then you will be stuck there unless you get a cab into the centre. There are too many good restaurants in Sharm and we have been to most, it is ridiculously cheap as well, a three course meal for two including two drinks each came to £12 total, in our country we would be lucky to get a couple of burgers for that. being in an all inclusive normally means you dont out the complex as there is nothing to see and do, There are a lot of very nice hotels you can relax in as well.
Whatever you choose, i hope you have a memorable holiday
Michelle.

I've stayed A/I at the Conrad (review just posted), Sharm twice and fully intend doing so again. For me it's the best option

weve always gone AI however this year we are going BB in hilton waterfalls and decided to go out for meals due to the prices and availbility of good looking resteraunts.
I would go AI if you were going to drink loads, however the wine is pretty shocking out there, so weve decided to take our own.

we have been to hilton sharks bay 3 times in the last 2 years and loved it.the hotel was spot on for everything, food, drinks and accomodation.the entertainment was'nt so good last time we went because the football was on and they put big screens in the nightclub for it and the usual entertainment went out the window, but there was still the sunset bar and pool bar if you wanted to get away from it. we had a few meals out in namma bay (cause my husband always wants a fillet steak and he thinks they were the best fillet he had ever had!)these meals with a starter, bottle of wine two beers and coffee were about £35-£40.they add about 20% tax on the end of the bill so you have to be aware of this.on average a bottle of local wine was about £9 and a large bottle of beer about £1.70.i think a/i is best with a couple of nights out in the town.

went to coral sea resort this year A/I and it is superb ,the food is rotated on a 14 day basis so in theory you should get something different everyday ,we did eat out a couple of times but that was because we were on trips ,this hotel has extremely good reviews and its well justified ,going to the holiday village next year but thats run by the same hotel group and by then should be well up to scratch ,as there does not seem a great difference between b/b and a/i in cost i know which appears to be the better buy to me ,after all your food ,drink and entertainment are paid for ,but you still have the option of going out if you want ,i'm no snob i'll eat anything thats properly cooked ,but a heavy nights drinking thats got to be paid for can cost you what it costs to stay A/I for 3 or 4 days
I have also been to Hilton Sharks Bay 3 times in the last 3 years and think the hotel is great. The advantage to all inclusive is if you are able to drink plenty of bottles of water for free which can mount up due to the hot weather. I like the wine and the beer so it works out better for us in the long run.
We went H/B in Aug--the first time we hadn't stayed AI for ages----BUT-----we actually spent less!!!!!!----never went without anything----plus meals were waiter service and absolutley superb----cooked as you ordered them and piping hot!!!
Not a Buffet in sight!!
But I do understand that if you have a few children-the extras can mount up!
