Hi all,

Not sure if this the correct forum but I'll carry on anyway.

Last visited Thassos (for the first time) in late May 2006. Loved the place so much it is the only Greek island (we love 'em!) that we have ever considered returning to, usually preferring to try a different resort every time.

We are booked again to travel on Sunday 30th Sept with Portland Holidays (Part of Thomson) to Thassos Town.

Thomson were very good last time and the Rep' Lizzie was outstanding"¦Can anyone confirm that she is still the Thomson's rep on the Island?

Can anyone advise that the weather would still be pleasant at this time of year on the Island and that there will still be plenty of things open, to visit, places to eat, etc I think you get my drift!

Also can anyone confirm if the Thassian Restaurant on the harbour front run by Rigas and Katrin is still open for business and if it will be open at that time in October as that was our favourite restaurant.

Sorry for the abundance of questions, but I've tried elsewhere for the answers with little success.

We have so many happy memories of Thassos that we are hoping we can revisit them and meet up with old friends again. The people and Island were so welcoming; I do hope it hasn't changed.
