Hi,
We're planning a weeks holiday at the Nympha Hotel and a week doing the Black Sea Cruise. Firstly has anyone stayed at this hotel, and secondly has anyone done the Black Sea Cruise?
Any information will be very much appreciated.
Regards,
Wendy
Welcome to HT
unfortunately we dont have reviews for the hotel yet. I would try asking about the cruise on the cruise forum as well- where you have a better chance of feedback.
HERE, but what is this "Black Sea cruise", please?
Have you booked a package with a week in Golden Sands then a week on a cruise ship on the Black Sea, or are they two separate items you have put together yourself?
It's unlikely that any posters on this forum will have had experience of a Black Sea cruise, so I suggest you follow Fiona's advice and ask on the Cruise Forum as well.
The idea sounds great, which company (-s) are doing this and what are the start and finish points please?

Thanks for your reply.
The cruise is advertised in the Balkan Holiday brochure, and you can match it up with any hotel in Golden Sands, it starts and finishes in Varna.
We haven't booked it yet, but have had a price off our travel agents for next July. We picked the Nympha Hotel as it's all inclusive and situated on the beach, and you can use all the facilities of the Imperial Hotel nextdoor. I can't find any first hand reports of either of these hotels, only what's written in the brochure, I was hoping someone who had been to Golden Sands would have some information.

Wendy
Forgot to mention it is on either a Schooner (18 metres long) or a Sailing Yacht (length 22 metres), they are only small boats which carry between 12 - 16 passengers. They look similar to the gulets which we have spent several great holidays on going around the Turkish Coast.

The Nympha is situated in what is called the Riviera complex, there is a good review on Trip advisor for it from this July. Its at the very south of the resort, and is a very nice area. Quiet but very close to night life if you want it.

Thanks for taking the time to answer. I'm a member of Trip Advisor and I read that review I've sent a personal message to the author of that report, but they haven't got back to me yet. I think it's always better to read a few good reports about somewhere don't you.
Wendy
Yes, most probably that's why I can't find any information on it. Just phoned directly to Balkan Holidays for a price and it's worked out about £150 cheaper than going through the travel agents, so I'm very tempted to book, just have to have a chat to my husband (although he never needs much persuading) It's on the sailing yacht, which is the one I wanted, as with the schooner you have to share toilet and shower with another couple.
