im planning a holiday to lido di jesolo, when looking at photos of the beach the water doesn't look very blue, in some photos it shows up a dirty brown. Is it good to swim in? any jellyfish? also what are the best areas too stay and what areas to avoid. im looking at the capitol hotel neat the lighthouse and another few near the mazzini area. and does lido have a misquito problem?
thanks
Stayed at lido de jesolo in august, the sea was a lovely blue.Never swam in the sea but didn't see or hear of any jellyfish.Walked for miles round the town and didn't see any dodgy areas. No problem with Mosquitos but we were always well sprayed.Had a wonderful holiday staying at the Principe Palace which was great, only downside is that Lido is very busy and touristy.Superfrac.
thanks superfrac, i'm thinking of going first week in july. had a look at the principle palace looks lovely and gets great reviews. does the pool area get overcrowded?
Hi again, the pool side area can get busy, though theres a roof top sun area and room around the bar.Always found a couple of sunbeds somewhere. The Principe is excellent, great staff and food, very clean.Superfrac.
Thinking of booking principe next june second week what will the weather be like? never been to Italy before ideally would like beach one day sightseeing the next, like a beer in the evening not fussed about any entertainment.
