Will I be able to purchase duty free alcohol and cigarettes in Corfu airport, to bring back to Gatwick?
Alternatively do I buy my them in resort and pack them in my suitcase? What kind of prices would I expect to pay for say 200 B&H and a litre of vodka in resort?
Thanks
Lorraine
Greece is part of the EU you cannot buy Duty Free you can buy DUTY PAYED
see this topic
fags are the same price price is set by the Greek government. booze is usually cheaper in resort
DO NOT attempt to take liquids through security in your hand baggage they will be confiscated, if you must purchase at the airport wait until you are past security and in the departure area

Slightly confused, so the ciggies are the same price in the airport? But I am not allowed to buy them anyway. So I should buy in resort? I am so thick!!!
the Greek government sets the price.. it don't matter where you buy them they will be the same price... if you have room in your suitcase [depending on weight], they would be best in there, but you can purchase at the airport and carry them if you wish
