Help Some of the senior members of our party like their bingo. Can anyone direct us to bingo in C.T.
Also what is the best markets to go to and when and where do they take place. We all like to get a bargain and is the haggling the same as the likes of other places.
With less than 4 weeks to go . I am getting lots of questions asked by the party, and as there is now 24 of us going the questions are coming in thick and fast.
So any of the latest info on C.T. will be gladly received
Thanks in advance
Willie
with the bingo i've never actually seew anyone playing although some of the hotels have it. Maybe somebody else maybe able to help with bingo.
As for the markets yep same as any of the main spanish resorts, you can haggle with pretty much any of them and theres actually a small market on a friday night in the main square which is within a minute of your hotel this is just a taster for the main market in teguise which is the biggest market i have ever seen and my mrs had to look at every stall at least twice which can be annoying
It can be a pain getting to the main market taxi are expensive about 25-30 euro one way much cheaper to book with one of the excursion companys. Try to Avoid the bus its really cheap but you'll end up only standing all the way there and back, not so bad if your young enough but for the older person not very nice atall!!!
I'd say the best the best thing is to hire a car if possible only for a day or two but its just so much easier and cheaper to get around.
Hope this helps.
Anything else you want to know just ask
Costa Teguise has a produce market on a Thursday during the day and a small craft market on a Friday night in the Pueblo Marinero.
Thanks for the info it all helps, if there is anything you think might benefit us please let me know as the questions will keep coming to me right up until we fly home and probably after that as well as we hear about things we missed . Just looking forward to a good time .
Cheers
Willie
Can I ask you to keep the emoticons to a minimum please? I have removed several from your post above as it resembled a cartoon strip.
Many thanks.

also the larger hotels all have entertainment on every night and you dont need to be a guest to go in,try the teguise playa on the front
have a nice time x
Sorry for that, will control my enthusiasm in future.
Hi marysol
Thanks for that, I'm copying all advice into a notebook to take with me, we intend to have a great time.
cheers
Willie
There is a sunday market held every week in the wee village of Teguise , this is about half an hour in a bus away, but dinny worry, take the local bus there, it cost us 8 euros each way for the four of us, you can get the bus from the main street,This is one street parallel to your hotel, ( on the same street as the Highlander bar )but oposite side of the road, don't worry because it's a good bus service .But no matter what your going to buy, remember and banter them down is price as you will get it for less than half what they want for it,,,
anyway i have rabbited on long enough, i hope you all have a brill time, as costa teguise is a fansatic place .
enjoy,
xx
I would like to thank everyone who has helped us plan our holiday and given us such good advice.
With only four days to go, am still open to any suggestions or if anybody needs messages passed on to people in Costa Teguise please let me know
Will do a review and write account of our time there when return or if I find internet cafe might manage some on the spot info.
Thanks all
Willie and family
only joking m8. theres a good internet cafe only 2 mins walk from you by the highlander pub although all the amusement arcades have internet terminals and the tahiche will have them aswell if you wanna rub it in some more while your overthere!!!!
restaraunts to try m8 if your interested, elpatio steaks are really nice and is only across the road from you in the main square and mastil which is underneath the hotel, you cant miss either of theese, but you really are spoilt for choice thats the best thing about CT you could go for 3 weeks and not eat in the same place twice so theres loads of choices.
hope some of this helps enjoy yourself!!
adj27 please do not use phone text style type as some of our members find it difficult to decipher. Many thanks.
