Would it be sun bathing weather or cloudy in general?

well that would obviously vary week to week..... but should be good yea....
good thing about tenerife is that the daytime temps dont vary too much throughout the year..... but as i said it will be a little chilly at night

This year we did Lanzarote in Jan, Fuerteventura in Feb and Tenerife in March.

In Jan and Feb it was generally sunny / warm during the day but certainly not pool weather unless you are really dedicated ! and cold immediately when the sun went down in the evening but it was a lot warmer than the UK !

March was much better, around the pool sunbathing during the day but again could be cool during the evening.

Fuerteventura is as you will know is the 'windy' island. We stayed at Caleta de Fuste and boy is was windy but it does have a very nice beach.

We normally go the week before half term and the weather is usually good. Go for the Torviscas playa hotel if you like big pools!!!!

Make sure you choose somewhere that has a heated pool or it will be too cold to swim. I have been a couple of times in Feb when my kids were young and they were nearly blue in an unheated pool. Its so hard to keep them out of the water but when they are so young they get chilled very quickly. Such a difference even if its only heated a little.

Above is a bit of a long one but the link gives you the average weather over the last 5 years for whatever period you want. Its good to play around with.
