It's very near the airport so transfer will be quick. You can also walk up into C'an Pastilla where I've stayed of an evening or get the little land train.

Would really appreciate any information about Hotel Isla Dorada, either good or bad if you have stayed there or know of anyone who has. Never have been, so any help would be great. Going for a week.

Thanks very much for your very quick responses. Would you recomend any pubs/restaraunts etc in C'an Pastilla? Does the Land Train go right around the coast to say Palma?

The land train just shakes your bones around Arenal and Can Pastilla.There are lots of buses into Palma very cheap at €1.10 and quick but lots of people cram on. There is also a cycle /walkway to Palma if you really want !! Sorry on info on restaurants we stayed in a hotel and watched the entertainment there on a night. CBG

We didn't go into Arenal of an evening as we preferred C'an Pastilla plus we were only there a few nights but we had a few drinks in the Manchester Bar in C'an Pastilla.

Thanks very much for your reply. It sounds like quite a nice place with plenty of transport. Do you know if there is a special/direct bus to and from the Pirates Show?

I have been in the manchester bar, I like c'an patilla had a very spanish fill about. We walked along the prom to arenal and found it very german. If you are like me and not bothered being out numbered by a different nationality you will be fine.

This year we went to the gran vista c'an picafort and the hotel was 99% german. Doing the quiz one night we were the only brits there. We only met two offer british couples. We had a great time. Without the brits there, there was not problem trying to find a sun bed even at mid-day. People think its the germans who put towels down at 5am its not its the brits who are the worst.

I think the area has the best beach along bay of palma. There is a nice thia restaurant in c'an pastilla, went over ten years ago so might not be there now.

Not sure re bus to pirates show but if you were to book through an agency out there they might provide transport.
