hello holiday truthers
me and the wifey are off to marmaris on the 9th of may and i was wondering if anyone does horse riding excursions or even quad bikes as we quite fancy doing something different as we've been on a few jeep safari's and done things like scuba etc and fancy somthing a bit different
any ideas would be greatly accepted
cheers
I know our office were selling horse safari's last year and you could either pick to go in a pony and trap contraption or ride a horse.
yeah my husband took our daughter on a horse riding excurtion in marmaris . 3 hours horse riding through lakes etc they loved it cant remember what it cost though .
I have booked for two weeks in August in Icmeler. Would love to go horse riding but am a bit worried about the conditions there for the animals. Would spoil my holiday if the horses were poorly cared for, so might have to give it a miss. Could anybody let me know if they have been and if the horses are healthy and well cared for?
Cheers,
Ren.
There not poorly cared for at all, its a proper stables and riding farm that they come from.

Hello kc, we are going 1st August, staying at the Iguana. Looking forward to it as it's our first time in Icmeler. Have heard great things about it. I have two sons who would like to try the horse riding too.
The horse riding organized is Asparan area which is about half an hour driving distance from Marmaris can be recommended...
ive bin going to marmaris for 10 years and always wanted to go but ive been told that the horses are skinny and malnourished is this true as i would love to go
I found the horses at Antalya riding school to be well looked after and the staff very friendlly. The horses do lose a bit of weight in the summer but thats because it is so hot out here and they eat a bit less but all in all its a good riding club.
My husband took our grand daughter riding while in Icmeler they had a wonderful time, well worth the trip, horses were well looked after, they booked through agent on the canal
http://www.dortnal.com/in_ana.htm Could be the same place Chelsea Boy mentioned.
