A bit of pampering before baby arrives

I'd like to take hubbie away for one night somewhere within a few hours drive from Derby that can offer me a bit of pampering before baby arrives. Ideally the hotel will have excellent reviews, has somewhere lovely to eat in the evening as well as a pool/spa facilities. Any ideas?!

How about the hotel and spa at Alton Towers - friends of mine went recently then gone back for a birthday treat.

Or Champneys - the former Springs Hydro - near Ashby de la Zouch

Thanks for the suggestions alanwall - apologies that it's taken me so long to respond. We ended up going to Ragdale Hall in Leicestershire in the end, which was very relaxing!

My friend has stayed there a few times as she has family about that area.
She would not return if it was no good - so you should be ok
