There is a very good steak house at the Portomaso Marina next to the Hilton. They serve all kinds of sausages, steaks, kangaroo. The portions are good and the food is excellent. I think it is called Buffalo Bill. I have been several times when I have been in Malta on business and it has always been good. The views from the restaurant over the marina are also fantastic.
There is also the Argyle Grill at the Preluna Hotel in Sliema, can't vouch for it as we have never eaten there I just know that it exists.
