When we where trying to book we where told that we would have to go to manchester but it would stop at birmingham !!!!! We said we would go to birmingham as it was closer for us but was told no we could not do that as they had allotted the tickets !!!! And that my dear friends was with Thompson

Hi walks, we booked from Manchester too and wanted to change to Birmingham and had to pay £120 extra each, but did this around june time.

Nightmare...

remember a woman going to the Dominican once.....she drove to Gatwick from Manchester to get the flight......plane flew straight to Manchester to collect.
Coming home they said she could have her bags marked to get dropped off at Manchester, then she remembered her car was at Gatwick. Sheer hell.

Trouble is with these charter flights, they don't offer up much info when booking.

I flew from Manchester to Goa via Bahrain a couple of weeks ago, the plane didn't go anywhere near Birmingham or Gatwick.

The journey that really annoyed me a few years ago was flying to Luxor from Manchester and the plane stopping at Gatwick to pick up passengers - and the Manchester passengers were the ones who had to pay the supplement.
Sorry to be off topic Fiona, but 3 years later it still bugs me.
