hello all
last year i went to India and my boyfriend had some excellent suits made from a recommendation i got from HT could anyone tell me of any good tailors to visit in Sri Lanka? im staying at Mount Lavinia if anyone has some info for that area?

We have just booked Sri Lasnka late May 2008.We will be staying at Club Hotel Dolphin Waikal.
Last time 2003 we stayed at Hotel Ocean view Wadduwa. All the local shops had "old black Singer Sewing Machines" outside. They all made suits shirts blouses and one of our party had a silk evening dress made. What I will do this time is taske a few pictures of designs I like or even patterns. I had two great Elephant waistcoats and a Indian Neru Suit" made last time hope for many other items this year. You should have no problems my wife still wears her linen blouses from 2003. Can't wait!!
