We have just returned from the Panama Canal on the Coral Princess
Unfortunately due to storms at sea we were unable to dock in jamacia- after asking at customer services we were told there would be a refund of port taxes. Guesss what ? none appeared on our final cabin statement
Are the cruise compnany legally obliged to give this refund
Sorry I can't help with your query, but would be delighted if you would post a review of your cruise once you recovery from the jetlag.

Yes- email them and they will correct it.
In the past I have found that Princess tend not to refund port taxes on UK bookings you may get them back is you persue but it will not be much for one port.
Always a good idea to check with Americans on board for this sort of thing to see what they got back and then try to sort it out before leaving the ship. should be creditied to the onboard acount day after the missed port.
