Stayed at the Rio Flamingo in, wait for it, 1987, it'd been open about a month.
It was really really nice. Great location, short walk to the nightlife but far enough away to escape, if you know what I mean. Had a lovely figure of 8 pool as I recall.
Went back to GC in 2003, just along from Rio Flamingo but couldn't resist going in and having a peak...it still looked good...but I can't say what the appts are like now.
Thats great - thanks. Will report back.
Thanks
If anyone can help Julie out with some recent feedback, we would also welcome your comments across on our Riu Flamingo reviews page ...
Just returned from the Riu Flamingo and have posted a report. If you would like to know anything else then I will try and help.
Vivienne,
Booked a bargain for the middle of May, we have booked a studio room, can anyone give us an idea of what to expect. I have read very good reports about the hotel but presume that these are for normal apartments. Is there a kettle supplied or do we have to take our own? is there a tv do you have to pay? what channels are available? We are going with friends but they had to pay extra for a normal apartments. Please take time out if you have been here. Many thanks
