When tickets go on sale for any Barcelona game first choice will go to members of the supporters club. It is only when that demand is exhausted that the general public can get hold of whatever are left. This means that for some of the more important games you will have to wait until very close to the fixture itself before you get a chance to buy.

There are many places that advertise tickets on the web, but you will be paying a huge premium for these 'black market' ones.

Often, your best chance is to go and see them play away. Only the most dedicated supporters of football go to see away fixtures (unlike England, I believe), and when Barcelona come to town the home club charge much more for tickets than for any other game (except for the Real Madrid match), resulting in Barcelona often playing in away stadiums to less than a capacity crowd.

There are always tickets available round the Ramblas area to be bought on matchdays also but be careful as some of the tickets need the membership card with the ticket. Been three times to watch Liverpool there, don't really rate the place as it can lack atmosphere as it's a big souless bowl. Barcelona as a place is superb.

Just checking Westie, is your question about where to buy Barcelona tickets on the Costa Blanca, or is it posted in this forum in error ?

Sorry for not responding sooner. I had heard you could buy tickets in some of the banks and a relative was travelling to Benidorm and I thought he could have purchased two tickets for the CelticvBarcelona champions league tie for me.
