Some good memories from that link

Initial memories of Benidorm that many here might remember

- Before the toll road, the road to Benidorm followed the old coast roads and were nothing short of terrifying!!

- The Torremar looked over the market and then a vast empty space from the Ambassador towards well, the Marina!

- Those empty lots, before developers hit...the long walks between the Square and the Ambassador when there was literally nothing in between!

- Woodys! The original one! And Blinkers Bars (now a bank, next to Pizza Hut and the Adult Store)

- The Ariel Park...now the Nero I think, could be wrong

- The Rosamar was new and posh....

- You visited Benidorm so many times that you got the vouchers that gave you a free set of Med Playa towels!

- You remember the Eva Mar being built!!!

Old Photos

Tried to find some old pics while we were there in nov but could'nt, i was trying to get a view from behind the duke of wellington, We stayed at the Britania hotel in 1976 first trip abroad, it was behind the duke around 150 yards up a dirt track nothing else around, lovely hotel only a 2 star it was great, nice food waiter service, did'nt go back till 1996 and could'nt believe it, been loads since fell in love wth the place sorry it was so long, the only hotels i remember was the titanic and the pelicanos, long empty roads, and of course the old town
