Don't think it will be very busy in April. Me and mum were staying in Magaluf middle of May last year and we caught a bus through to Santa Ponsa, once during the day and once again one evening. Both times we were there were fairly quiet. There is something called Santa Ponsa Scene, which you will be able to search for on the internet, which will give you lots of information on the resort.

We have lived here for 3 years and in two of those three April was very certainly shorts weather! It can fall a bit cool after dark so bring light jackets or jumpers for sitting outside into the wee hours.

Everywhere will be open in April but it is not too busy at that time of year. There is a new website called http://www.webmastermallorca.com which has quite a lot of info.

I personally think April/May and September/October are the best times of year to visit Santa Ponsa especially for families and children.
