New Year weather

Have just booked 7 nights to CT for New Year (arriving 28 Dec). Does anyone have any idea as to what the weather is like at that time of year. Not expecting it to be scorching - but definitely no snow like Edinburgh!!!
We were at Costa Teguise this new year and it was hot enough to sunbathe every day. Chilly at night though.
You never can tell... I've been every xmas for about 15 years and weather can be anything from overcast and rain to glorious sunshine (as was this year)... Whatever it is it will be better than U.K.
