hiya, we have been to the watering hole a couple of times, for a drink and a bite to eat, but never used its pool. it does look nice though. Do you not like the beach?? it's only literally just across the road from the watering hole. you can find another pool which is open to non residents at Jarden del Luz apartments on Calle Lisboa (off Avde Rey Jaime I.) link to a map is

The pools in most hotels are open to non residents, as long as you purchase
drinks or meals they will not have a problem.

Are there many jellyfish in the sea?

Sorry to bombard you with questions, never been to Majorca before. Is it family orientated, like Menorca? I have read lots of reviews and most of them say it is for youngsters out to get drunk in all the irish bars? Bit worried as we are taking our 15yrold and his mate and was going to let them do their own thing in the evening till 11ish, but read that there is lots of trouble at a club near sun beach? Would they be safe. We also have an eight year old, is there much for her?

Santa Ponsa has a quiet and and noisy side either side of the bay. But it won't be really rowdy before eleven, lots of families go and everyone enjoys themselves, there is something for everyone whatever your age. It is only a short bus ride to Palma for a bit culture. CBG
