I, 18, visited the Joy Nashira in July 2007 with my mum, 43, and my sister, 15. We had an amazing holiday! The weather was extremely hot for the full two weeks we were there which was perfect for us as we are complete sun worshippers. The one thing I will point out is sun beds-get down to the pool early if you want a good spot! You will most likely always get a bed, but if its busy then the good spots will all be taken. The pool scene is lively but relaxing. There are lots of pools, they are all connected and very big. The pool bar is really good and the bar men were always friendly and helpful. The pool bar is really nice at night as it is all lit up and so are the surrounding areas. The spa is really nice and clean. I had a few treatments which were very relaxing. The sauna and steam room were also really nice.

The hotel is beach front and there were many different activities to take part in such as vollyball. You can also rent jet skis, go paragliding etc etc. The hotel itself is enormous and very spacious. It is modern and the decor is lovely. The two bars inside the hotel are very nice and there is plenty of seating. There is also a club inside the hotel (however don't let this put you off, you can't hear any noise when you are outside of the club). It was lots of fun with good music and it was somewhere for teenagers+ to go. There is a games room with a pool table, bowling etc. There are computers with internet access which you obviously have to pay for.

The dining hall is massive and the food was amazing! There is so much choice, and I am quite a fussy eater. We always found something that we liked.

The entertainment team when I was there (it will most likely be different this year) were great + so much fun. They made our holiday just that little bit better. They worked really hard and were always friendly and on the go doing different activities for anyone to take part in. Every night they put on a show in the amphitheatre which were good/ok/boring. Depends what you find good but they always made a huge effort.

If you have teenagers or want to go out there are restaurants and a few clubs about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. We went to the clubs most nights and they were really good. There are also little shops and cafes. You have to look to find them as they are not obvious from the hotel.

The room we stayed in was nice and spacious-perfect for the three of us anyway. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a great holiday. Hope this helps!
