Help wanted please
We were looking to book a last minute all inclusive to the Bal Beach Hotel in Gumusluk only to find that we were being charged £180 round trip transfer for 2 so declined!
The area looks lovely although cant find any mention on this forum so wondered what it is actually like in that area or even the hotel if any one has been there.
Any advice on the transfer would be good cant believe it should cost that for a journey that doesnt seem that far unless I am missing something.
Many thanks
Which airport are you thinking of flying to?
A search for Gumusluk on Google maps shows four differnt ones, by the looks of it

Bodrum apparently, which makes the transfer price even more bizzarre as the hotel only seems to be around 37km from the airport, I am sure I am missing something or the operators are giving me duff info
Ho hum only wanted to go on holiday!

Its possible this offer is because you are arriving at Dalaman airport and not Bodrum.I have seen good offers on Teletext holidays website that are arriving in an airport miles from the resort instead of the nearest one.They are on Goldtrails website and they are offering holidays to Marmaris but arriving at Bodrum airport which I think is about twice the distance than from Dalaman airport,:
Gumusluk is less than an hour from Bodrum airport so £180 is extremely expensive for a transfer.
It is a beautiful village, lots of pretty houses surrounding a little bay, lovely restaurants - they specialise in fish, nice but small beach. I am hoping we are going to buy a house there in the next year or so (if I can convince my husband
)
If you can sort out your own transfer it will be a lot cheaper. Have a great time

Bodrum Airport to Gumusluk - I booked through HolidayTaxis.com cost £44.00 return for 2 people. but that was cheapest option using shuttleBus
