Yes, I know the feeling only too well! I came back on the 21st. May and booked my flight for October straight away. Only 4 months to wait now, roll on!

Hi, we are going to Ixia in 2 weeks, and just wondered if you changed your money over there or here in the UK. The rate is so bad here at the moment and cant see it getting any better, what was over there? Oh, and how was the weather?

The weather was scorchio............absolutely fantastic. As we where leaving the rep said that it was getting warmer by the day and that this was the summer season kicking in weather-wise.

I've checked on Wunderground for the days we where there and they had temps of around 22-25c, by hell it was, it was absolute toasting. I'd say it was touching 30c.

As for the currency, being in Lindos, all I ever saw was 1.22, and it never budged in the whole week I was there, actually I think I only saw it at 1.21 as opposed to 1.22 one day. I changed my money here, in a cashpoint branch, I got 1.219, I just didn't see the point of going to all the hassle of searching around town for 1 cent more.

Yeah i thought as much FD. I never change mine over there as a rule but it was just wishful thinking really! Great news about the weather! I went to Lindos a few years back, and i found it to be the hottest place in Rhodes. At least in Ixia there will be a breeze!

And yes, Lindos is very warm and with our accommodation being not far from the acropolis, the patio was toasting hot.
