we booked resort hoppa to pick us up from alicante airport and take us to the Melia hotel in benidorm in a private taxi. on arrival at the airport we found the resort hoppa desk and were told our taxi was outside and that our return jurney time had changed from 7.20pm to 7.05pm and to be outside the hotel 20 minutes before had . We were also instructed not to contact the confirmation number on the sheet the day before we were due to leave as the lady at the airport had already confirmed the pick up time . We were then dropped off at the Melia hotel in Benidorm without any problems , We had a good holiday with the hotel and staff great.
On the day of our return to the airport we sat outside the hotel from 630pm untill 7.20 pm and no taxi turned up, i rang the numbers on resort hoppa sheets and could not get an answer from anybody, we kept trying the phone numbers until 7.45 then we gave up and jumped in a local taxi a left for the airport.
when we returned to the uk i rang resort hoppa the next day to see what had gone wrong, i was told i had to email the customer complaints and someone would be in touch.
i received an email requesting what had happened. I told them what had happened and they said resort hoppa would look into and it could take up to 28days for there findings. I asked for updates a few times and was told the 28days were not up and resort hoppa were still looking into the matter. I have now been told after waiting 24 days that i had left the pick up point so i will not be getting a refund. they also emailed a pick up confirmation sheet stating that the pick up time was 7.45pm. this had clearly been altered as the new 7.45 time was in a bold format diferrent to the rest of the sheet. i also have the origonal confirmation time. when i pointed this out they have now stopped replying to my emails . Tis has turned out to be an expensive taxi ride with resort hoppa charging £105.00 and a taxi ride to the airport costing another 72 euro. BE WARNED
