My friend went to Benidorm last week and 2 days before they left they got a phone call to say their hotel was over booked and they were being moved. As compensation they would get £10 per adult per day and £5 per child. When they got there, they realised they weren't AL as paid fo and were only Full Board. They ended up spending a fortune on ice creams and drinks for the kids and themselves which wasn't what they had planned. She's not been given the compensation yet, but she's priced the difference in holidays on the companies site and it's a £500 difference. Do you think she would be able to claim the difference in prices as a proper compensation?
