I'm fairly certain that when you call a British mobile when the owner is abroad it cost them to receive the call, but would it cost a Turkish owner to receive a call from us on their mobile?
Having spent a holiday there in June we have decided to go back in September. We have kept in touch with some of the hotel staff by email but my husband wants to ring to check all the arrangements are ok. I dont want to end up costing them money on their mobile so thought I'd ask if anyone knows if there would be a charge to them!
When I lived in Turkey I had a Turkish phone and it never cost me anything to receive calls from a British phone.
my mother lives in turkey and has a turkish mobile if i ring her off my uk phone it doesnt cost her anything but if she rings me it does cost me grr, so you should be fine
Skype ftw!
Thanx for the answers everyone. When people are being so helpful, I would hate for them to end up paying for it
