We've a week (could be 10 days if I'm lucky) or so in Normandy between Bayeux and St Lo - at the Siblu park in Litteau, in late August - two short people (9 & 5). Last year we almost went to the Bayeux labyrinth - does any one know if this is worth a mornings visit?
We will spend time on the beaches, swimming and generally enjoying life. Plus the odd meals out - Port En Bessin will be visited again and again. If the boss approves it then, a visit to some D-day monuments will be allowed, if she doens't approve it then what she doesn't know won't hurt
Can anyone suggest some family friendly places to go and visit? We tend to spend one day doiong stuff, and then the following one sitting on the deck to consume vin.
BUT if someone knows somewhere special it would be nice to know about it. We will be driving so will have a car out there, but I'd prefer to keep the trips to below 100 KM radius. St Michaels Mount maybe?
Much Obliged - and I cannot wait to go.

try to get there early --before the coach trips start arriving expect the café and restaurants inside to be a little pricy though but well worth the climb just for the view
but the trip in you pass lots of interesting places -- the Windmill is a museé so worth a look especially if they are milling grain that day you can buy so REALLY fresh flour
got a couple of shots of Mont Saint Michel here
The Caen Memorial is also very child friendly.
