My boyfriend and I are going away on our first holiday together in September this year and we are staying at the Plaza Real. I just wanted to know if anyone had been and what was it like? I have read a few reviews and from what i can gather it looks like a nice place. I have never been to Portugal before!!
Also I'm just a little concerned about the distance in to the town, Praia de Roche to the bars/restaurants? I have read there is a small dirt track between the apartments and the beach/bars etc.... and i am a little concerned as one review read about possible muggings? The alternative was a much longer walk around and up hill - which i would prefer if this was the case but will it be necessary?!
It may be me worrying over nothing but could someone put my mind to rest??
