just got back from golden sands last friday the temp reached the high 30s and didnt cool down at all but still take a fleese just in case internet access is good a few places have it and charge 1lev for 10 minutes

hi just back on sunday weather fab was up 2 35 slightly cooler at night but still a never thot the need for a jacket, internet can be found widely and most hotels have them too, hav great time

Thanks for the replies you two. I imagine I wont need to bother then with a jumper, trousers etc as i'm going during the peak of the weather.

I have just booked a two week holiday at the Hotel Pliska in Golden Sands, on paper it looked quite a bargain, but after reading the blurbs you get with the booking form, I am not so sure. Both my husband and I are in our late 60's, but quite young at heart, and adaptable, has anyone any advice for us, also what is the present rate of exchange. Anything else of interest would be much appreciated. Lisanne77

I didnt think the Pliska was located in Party Street. Doesnt party street start round about Shipka Hotel and finish around Tintiava Hotel ?

If my memory serves me right the Pliska was along beside Crowne Plaza and Gradina hotels but apologies if I am wrong!!!!

Pliska is not on party street it is situated in a quiet area of GS not far from Party street.

I stayed in the Pliska 3 yrs ago not my cup of tea but I know plenty of people that go year after year.
