Hi Pints - spirits are very very expensive, so if I were you, I would take a couple of bottles from the Duty Free. Have no idea of the price of the local beer other than the fact that it is fairly cheap! No doubt other HT members will be able to be a little more helpful to you. Have a lovely holiday. I agree with what jennyfrank said.I like a good brandy and buy mine from the duty free, have a couple on my balcony early on,and then fill my minitures to slip in my colas later on,I always do this,I dont like local brand drinks, and certainly cant afford imported drink prices every night.

There are very few hotels in Tunisia that sell Bacardi. I have seen it in a few of the bars bu it's very expensive. You are best off buying a couple of bottles from duty-free to take with you.

Abottle of the local beer (Celtia) will cost between 3-4td.

at birmingham airport you could buy 2x1litre bottles of bacardi or vodka for £16.it came in handy for drinks on the balcony. it took me a few days before i found a shop selling wines and beers.although you could have a drink in the hotel bar.
