Lara Beach to Side

Hi All,

Does anyone know how far it is to Side from Lara Beach? It looks a lovely place and I do plan on visiting but wanted advice on how best to get there. Because there are 6 of us in my party that rules out taxis, the wife doesnt want to travel in a taxi with a couple of children, with me in another taxi with 2 more kids, this makes her nervous...
So I suppose its the Dolmus?? What time in the evening do they finish running?

Any advice is always appreciated.

Hi Phil. I'm afraid that DolmuÃƒâ€¦Ã…Â¸ don't run from Lara Beach to Side.You would have to take a DolmuÃƒâ€¦Ã…Â¸ from Lara Beach to ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬â€œrnekkÃƒÆ’Ã‚Â¶y ( about 10 minutes ) and then take The Terminal Bus to the Otogar ( Bus Station ) Here you would have to take a Bus to Side Otogar. This will take around 110 minutes plus the time you have already travelled.With all those Kids I guess it is just not worth it.

Hi, it will be a great pity to miss Side, if I were you I would save it for a whole holiday next year, there are lots of great hotels there and loads to do plus a great beach :sun2

I guess the best way to get to Side would be to go on an organised tour - either with your holiday rep or one of the companies that have kiosks around Lara beach. Takes about 1 hour (if there are not too many pick ups at other hotels). Saw trips to Side advertised for 10 euros pp. Children cheaper and/or free, when we were at Lara beach in May.
Also there are some taxis big enough to take 6 people.!
