Yes we had a fantastic time, looking forward to going back next year. 
i guess the weathwer was good we go in 5 weeks to a wedding and expect to fry if we come out of the shade, we had the same time as you in rhodes and it was steaming during the day.
Cigs were 32 euro for 200 in our local supermarket

we stayed in the Nestor Hotel which was brilliant.
we ate out every night and highly recomend the 'Marquis De Napa', Petinos, Rapheals and Vassos Fish Restaurant. All these places are excellent, really good choice and lovely fresh products. We tried alot of the local cusine and really enjoyed it, we also enjoyed the steaks and pastas.
The sea is lovely and warm, like you say, just like a bath.

Thanks Mike, I stayed in the Nestor last year, it got a great location! This year we are about 100 yards away at the Anesis.

Julian, at the top of that road towards near the new famagusta hotel there is a new supermarket, its brilliant, buy all your soft drinks and booze from there. you will save a fortune, cans of coke are €0.47 every other shop they are at least €1.00. big cans of Stella are €1.45 which is a bargain seems as eveywhere else they are at least €2.50.
That's great! I take it you mean the road left out of the Nestor and past the big pharmacy on the right??

yeah thats the road, the one with the dodgy sort of roundabout at the top. the shop is next to the marquis de napa. spirits are reasonable, my wife drinks malibu and paid €12 for a litre bot or €7 for a copy one. I drank whisky and paid €11 for grants 1 litre.
