I honestly don't think you have anything to worry about.

Both Mrs & Ms indicate female. So if your Name is correct no-one will worry re the missing r. It's the name not the status they are bothered about.

Don't worry. I was apparently 'Mrs' this year, when I'm actually a Miss or Ms. It's the name that counts.

Go off and enjoy. :cheers

Thanks for your reply and i'm glad somebody else has flown with their name mrs instead of miss, just didn't want to get to the airport and they say 'sorry you can't fly' I would be devastated and fuming!

I will try and forget about it now and just enjoy my countdown

I went away just after I had changed my name back to my maiden name. I had passport (Miss) and ticket (Ms) in one name and all my credit cards etc in another! I had to lug my official deed of change of name everywhere just in case

As a Quaker I don't use any 'title' and depending on the 'default' settings on computer systems, have ended up travelling as Miss, Mrs, Ms and Dr and never had any problems! The one thing I'm careful to check is that I don't end up being down as Mr! As long as the name and initials are right the title you choose to use (or not!) is irrelevant. Apart from Dr, the rest that I've travelled on are all courtesy titles and you can choose which one you prefer and my Bank has never had any problems with issuing me with bank and credit cards without any title at all on them.

The one thing you shouldn't do if you are married is to follow strict etiquette and title yourself Mrs. Husband's first name/initial, surname because that won't match the name details on your passport. Strictly speaking only widowed or divorced women should refer to themselves or be referred to as Mrs. Own first name/initial, surname. If these things were actually important only single, widowed or divorced women would be able to fly!

Thanks for that information, nice to know that I can fly without any problems

I checked my passport out of curiosity and it only states first name and surname, so I'm pleased now.
I'm one of these people that like to be organized and any slight thing makes me worry
just feel so silly asking for help when I should of knew that it would be okay, just like to have opinions to make me feel at ease.

Never feel silly for having to ask. If it is something you haven't come across before there is no reason why you should know and every reason why people on here can set your mind at rest.
