I went to Protaras in June and found it very hot. I used factor 40 then went down to 30 but spent most of my time under umbrellas as burnt badly few years ago and would never let myself get in that situation again.
I am very fair skinned but still come back with a decent tan.
I noticed that the small p20 is half price at Tesco for £5.44 if anybody is interested and all there own brand is half price as well.
I'm worrying now ... just found we have only got Factor 15 !... need to go shopping me thinks.
Thanks for all that advice.. I'm not one to sunbathe for ages but will go walking a little and obviously have a drink or 10 by the pool so I've plumped for a couple of bottles of Factor 30 & a couple of Factor 20
factor 15 just about holding off an hour in sun !....need welders helmet and smock !
just back on Wed. Most of the time the temps were 32-34 and I used a Factor 30 throughout. I never burned and have gone a nice colour - the best ever. I also used Avon Skin so Soft (Soft and Fresh) oil spray at night and never got bitten once.
We came back on the 4th Sept and the weather we had was scroching, We used ASDAs own brand factor 15 & 30 and came back with a lovely colour, normally I would go lower but being pregnant thins year I didn't want to risk it. Never burned once and even hubby came back with a glow. My holiday tip this year is buy ASDA's brand - much cheaper, not greasy and done a great job.
