looking to go to portugal next summer
dh and i went many years ago and stayed in villamora - we probably want to go further away from faro than villamora
any suggestions of resorts and accomodation me dh and dd age 8 nice beaches , nice bars and restauarants not too commercialized

Hello spadge, most people will tell you that Albufeira is the place to go, but if you don't want it commercialized then I would say have a look at Lagos, this has all the thing you asked for, take a peep at the site below.

hello id say go to Albufiera.It can be as quiet or noisey as you want to make it.I have been to Lagos and villamoura for days out and dont think they are as nice as albufiera.
Lagos and Albufeira aside, can any tell me the cheapest resort ( in general ) to eat out all along the algarve
